Vitamin Science announced the launch of Dr. Krawitz Dry Eye Support, a dry eye nutritional formula.
Based on Dr. Paul Krawitz's United States Patent #7,638,142 for his "Therapeutic Composition for the Treatment of Dry Eye Syndrome," Dr. Krawitz Dry Eye Support supplies critical ingredients in their purest and most highly bioavailable forms to address the complex chemistry of the tear film, according to a company news release.
Dry Eye Support is made with 1,000 mg triglyceride omega 3 fish oil from Alaskan Pollack that promotes healthy tear production. Phytosterols, the lipid-soluble molecules formed by the Meibomian glands, support the outer oily layer of tears, while curcuminoids from natural turmeric root, flaxseed oil and GLA from black currant seed oil provide long-lasting, soothing relief.
Pure ingredients, easy absorption, a strong safety profile and high quality standards are why Dr. Krawitz Dry Eye Support brings superior results for tear production, moisture retention and overall eye comfort. Dr. Krawitz Dry Eye Support contains no GMO's, soy, gluten, sugar, egg, milk products, albumin, whey, peanuts, shellfish or fish protein.
"It is our mission at Vitamin Science to provide eye health supplements that are constantly evolving and updating to match the latest scientific research," said Paul Krawitz, MD, ophthalmologist, Vitamin Science CEO, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and formulator of Dr. Krawitz Professional Eye Supplements. "With our new Dry Eye Relief formula, we are leveraging the newest scientific findings, allowing nourishment of eyes with an evidence-backed symbiotic complex that is both well-tolerated and highly effective in promoting eye comfort and health."
