Visiometrics Releases User-Centric Software Update for HD Analyzer
Visiometrics has released an update to its HD Analyzer system. The HD Analyzer provides objective measurement of visual quality to improve patient outcomes in cataract diagnosis, dry eye treatment, and refractive surgery. The free software update features significant improvements to the user experience.
The HD Analyzer software speeds exam time with one-click tests and a new auto-save feature. The newly designed interface simplifies the menu for easier navigation. A number of customization options have been added to tailor report management to practice protocols. Options include default file naming, and automatic export to desired server location for easy records management.
One of the main benefits cited of the HD Analyzer’s objective reporting is its value as a visual aid in patient discussions. Reports have been improved for even easier review and patient education. Report formatting is more flexible, allowing for selection of metrics to be included. Graphs are larger, and numerical range score has been added to the graph for tear film analysis. A new patient history graph provides a visual progression analysis.
The software update is available to current HD Analyzer users running either the laptop or the touch screen system. The recently launched touch screen option (currently available in the United States) provides a more compact footprint and faster navigation. The flat screen display can also be removed for patient discussions.
